Stand Up for the Waterfront at These Crucial Public Meetings September 20, 2013 TORONTO - Now is your chance shape the future of Toronto's waterfront. The public consultations on the dangerous jet plans are your moment to speak up. Three packed events have shown that opposition to the dangerous jet plans is broad and widespread. Now we need you come out to City Council's Executive Committee meeting on Tuesday, September 24. City staff will give an update to Mayor Ford and his inner circle. We need to show our opposition and make deputations. The fourth public consultation in early November. We are waiting for City staff to determine the date. After City staff wraps up their report in late November, it will go to the Executive Committee again on Thursday, December 5. The decisive City Council vote is slated for Monday, December 16.
