What We Want
Representing residents across Toronto, the non-partisan organization NoJetsTO opposes the expansion of the Island Airport through jet aircraft and extended runways. NoJetsTO’s goal is to preserve the current state of the Island Airport by protecting the Tripartite Agreement that governs it.
While we do not oppose the status quo of the Island Airport, we are opposed to turning it into a Pearson-by-the-Lake.
Who We Are
NoJetsTO is a diverse group of residents from across Toronto. It’s a grassroots organization that is non-partisan and independent, uniting volunteers of different ages, backgrounds and motivations. To date we have collected more than 14,000 signatures from every single ward in the city. Our support is broad and diverse.

Meet Our Chair
Born and raised in Toronto, Norman Di Pasquale fell in love with the waterfront after seeing the Harbourfront “Quay to the City” event in 2004 where the plan for our waterfront was demonstrated. It illustrated to Norman the vast potential our waterfront has as a destination and a place to live. He moved there shortly after in 2006 where he still lives now.
Norm works as an IT expert and is the proud father of two wonderful children.
