Another Win: Scarborough Public Consultation Announced

Join us for Additional Public Consultation on Tuesday, Feb. 25 David_Smiley_Photo_Public_Consultation_2014-01-27TORONTO - Another win for us: three local City Councillors have agreed to hold an additional event in Scarborough. Already affected by the flight paths to the Island Airport, Scarborough residents now have another chance to speak out against the jets. Join us on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, 6:30 p.m. Sir Wilfrid Laurier Collegiate Institute. 145 Guildwood Pkwy, Scarborough, M1E 1P5 (click for Google map) The event is hosted by the City of Toronto Waterfront Secretariat as well as Councillors Paul Ainslie, Ron Moeser and Gary Crawford,. The Toronto Port Authority, Transport Canada, Porter Airlines and NoJetsTO will all have an opportunity to speak to residents and answer questions. To ensure that questions are addressed all attendees will be asked to submit their questions in writing at the meeting. Please let us know if you can make it to this crucial event.
